Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2014
RUN FOR A REASON!!
October 12, 2014
Life can change in a split second. The ability to walk and use our limbs is so automatic that we never think about it. Imagine, in just one moment of time, paralysis happens and everything changes forever. Make your run in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon more meaningful, and run for those who can’t! The SCI has a limited number of entries. You may opt out of the lottery system by running for a charity, however you must raise a minium of $1000 for the charity. If you have already registered for the Chicago Marathon and want to join our team, please contact the SCIA office.
Funds raised by our runners will be used to:
- Further developing and improving our resource center for people whose lives are affected by paralysis
- Provide peer counseling and support groups
- Provide seminars for people in healthcare and individuals with spinal cord injuries and family members
- Present Think First, a free Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program for school students
